Roy Wood is the founder and CEO of Allied Contractors LLC. Located in Manchester, TN.
For over 20 years, he learned the ropes in various construction trades. He was newly married in 1999 and moved from Alabama to Tennessee; he wanted to be established. After watching his father-in-law work remodeling jobs, Roy recognized a few things he could do part-time that would generate additional income. A 1988 S10 blazer served as a means to drive around small neighborhoods and talk with homeowners about small projects that needed to be done. Learning the value of hard work and customer satisfaction, Roy began to build relationships with a broad range of customers who trusted him to get the job done right! With a growing family and the need for insurance, Roy acquired full-time work as an employee for years, which included calling his CDL license and driving a tractor-trailer. However, Roy continued to serve his customers by doing part-time remodel work in the evenings and weekends. After losing his job due to market cuts in July 2012, Roy knew he needed more. He felt the call to pioneer a ministry. In March 2013, he did just that.
Needing a flexible schedule to accommodate this passion of purpose, Roy began to commit to working for himself in the things he had learned over the years. So an exciting new business was born. In 2017, Roy named the company and formalized it as an LLC. What started as a means to minister and care for his family has now grown into a business that employs a dozen people and networks with multiple partnerships—completing jobs from small home projects to the big box stores such as Lowes, Walmart, and many more! Allied Contractors LLC has become a preferred contractor all over the southeast region. Roy enjoys spending time with Amanda, his wife of 24 years, his six children, and three grandchildren. He also enjoys reading, writing, and helping others.
Lynetta Mashe
Lynetta Mashe is the Marketing Specialist with Allied Contractors.
Lynetta Mashe joined Allied Contractors in December of 2022. She is in charge of marketing both in person and online. She enjoys creating content of all kinds. Lynetta states that her goal is to represent the company in the best light, with a touch of humor. Her creativity and bubbly personality make her an asset to the team. She also loves to travel and is very involved in ministry.
Sue Taylor
Sue Taylor is the Mitigation Manager and a Project Coordinator with Allied Contractors.
She has nine years of experience in Fire, Water, and Mold Mitigation. She is globally certified and licensed by IICRC in the mitigation field and deals with all our insurance-based clients. In addition, she also assists and coordinates all divisions at Allied. While she has a bachelors in Criminal Justice, she prefers the pace of construction and restoration! She is a mom of 3 beautiful children and an active part of her church.
Michael Northcutt
Mike is now the Senior Construction Manager with Allied Contractors LLC.
Michael Northcutt has done handyman work throughout his entire life. He started by helping his Dad add to their house growing up, which is when his interest in handyman work started. In 1998 he built his first home from the ground up. Over the past few years, he has been working with Allied Contractors and says it has been a blast. There is a lot of versatility within the company, and everyone works well with each other to get the job done right.
Outside of work, he enjoys getting in his boat and going fishing. He also enjoys trying new restaurants or just different foods in general. Mike says an essential part of this line of work is seeing the end product and a happy customer.
Lucas Wood
Lucas Wood is a Licensed Electrician for Allied Contractors LLC.
Lucas is a field leader in electrical and a skilled painter with acute attention to detail.
Lucas is also trained to assist in all the other divisions within the company. Lucas always has the willingness to help those around him. He loves to play guitar, harmonica, and piano in his free time and is heavily involved with ministry and helping others.
Elijah Wood
Elijah Wood is a Licensed Electrician for Allied Contractors LLC.
He is doing what few have ever done, holding the bragging rights of completing his electrical test with a perfect score of 100%!
In addition to his electrical background, Elijah also holds EPA 608, Industrial Electricity, Meter, and Snap-on certifications. Not only does Elijah work as an electrician, but he is also a field leader in mitigation and works in other needed areas.
Knowing all the trades of the company makes him a versatile asset.
In his free time, Elijah is deeply devoted to family, ministry work, and mentoring younger men in personal development and life skill training.
He loves music and enjoys playing multiple instruments.
